Effect of Neem and Tamarind Leaves as Anthelmintic in Cattle

Neem (Azadirachta indica) and Tamarind (Tamarindus leaves are used worldwide for their wide range of medicinal properties like antibacterial, antiprotozoal, hepato-protective other properties. The present study was conducted to observe the effects as anthelmintics in cattle. Animals were selected grouped into four groups where Group A considered control, B treated with grinded leaves, C D both efficacy rate calculated. It observed that had a significant effect on number fecal eggs count. On day 0 average egg counts A, B, recorded 7.50±0.45, 7.80±0.50, 7.95±0.38 8.00±0.52 respectively. However, 15th-day significantly decreased (P≤0.05) treatment groups. Moreover, considering it Neem: (1:1) more efficient (68.15%) than individual (29.93%) (42.67%). Hence, found effective
